- V-shaped grooves: Two V-shaped grooves ensure excellent braking and hold of ropes of all sizes.
- Lever for giving slack: Lever allows belayer to give slack to seconder(s), even if the rope is tight (use of 'téléphériques' where seconder clips into one rope as hand rail whilst being belayed, sections with short descents etc).
