Detailed description
The lean and strong Metolius Monster daisy chain can be used for ascension rigs, leading aid pitches and sorting out complicated belays. Made with Monster webbing, a blend of 36% Dyneema and 64% nylon for superb strength-to-weight ration and abrasion-, UV- and moisture-resistance. Thin 13mm width daisy chain weighs a scant 2.5 oz. and features a reinforced clip-in loop and an 8-in. loop for girth hitching to climbing harness. Long 55-in. chain is triple bar-tacked between pockets; 3-in. pockets are designed for body weight only! Ideal for alpine climbing because it absorbs very little water. Different loops allow climber to clip in at varying lengths from protection. Daisy chains are intended for body weight applications only.
