Sama is very good for sport climbing (light, comfortable and breaths well) but with heavy trad rack it doesn't maintain it's shape isn't that comfortable.

Scud is made for hard mixed and dry tooling thoug it works well on steep ice as well. If the ice is not steep enough the swing is bit awkward because due to the angle of the pick.

Handle is not comfortable and it haven't got anything over aluminum so it's fairly slipery if you don't wrap anything over it. In new versions called Coyote they have fixed that but othervwice coyote is the same tool . Scud far behind comparable BD or Petzl products in term of comofort.

BD express ice screws are easy to place (especially new versions) even with thick golves and they sit nicely over each others taking quite small space in rack (compered for example to grivel 360 ice screws that I have also). They bite well even to cold ice.
