This pack is my workhorse pack, it's the perfect size for most applications; enough space for all the gear you don't need while cragging, enough space for all your winter gear or bivvy gear. However due to good adjust-ability it's also practical to use virtually empty (i.e. on that long mountain route when all you waterproofs are on, your rack on your harness, rope out and all that's left in your pack is your squashed lunch!).

The build quality is what you would expect out of a lowe alpine pack, excellent. Its stood up to a lot of use and abuse. The adjustable back is also great, especially for jacking the pack up your back to keep it out of the way of your harness. The bag is also extremely comfy to wear.

My only criticism is that with only a single buckle holding the lid down at the front the top, especially when full of stuff, doesn't always sit on the bag nicely. however I've learnt to pack the bag in a way that prevents this so no longer a problem!

The side pockets are also the perfect size for a BMC map!

This jacket is incredibly light and packs down tiny, making it fit nicely in your backpack. However it never seems to end up in my pack as I'm always wearing it!

It's incredibly versatile, being breathable enough and good enough at wicking for really active days out, while warm enough to keep you comfortable at an exposed belay. It keeps you warm by keeping the wind off you, which it's very effective at doing, though it is also fleece lined (Choire Mor, Braeriachvery thinly) which means it has enough warmth on its own for a mild winters day.

It keeps snow off excellently as well as short exposures to light rain, though in heavier rain you won't stay dry it seems to be able to keep you surprisingly warm!

The outer material is great at keeping the elements off but does not seem the most durable....

The hood is good even if a bit flappy in the wind and just slightly too small for my helmet (standard petzl elios).

Pockets are good though the hand warmer ones can't be accessed while wearing a harness.

Would like more bulky zip pullers...

All in all a great jacket and one of my most used bits of kit, even if a few comprimises have been made to cut down the weight.

These were my first every set of nuts, and they're great! For such a simple bit of hardware DMM really have set these apart from the rest of the competition!

I have a set of the anodised wild country rocks on wire and they just never seem to sit anywhere near as well in the rock and just don't feel secure in comparison.

They really are the best choice of nuts on the market! Wouldn't buy anything else after using it's competition.

The wallnuts really are the nuts..... (bad joke alert)

Seriously though, wouldn't recommend anything else!!
