Warm wool cap with headband shaped fleece lining that keeps your head comfortable warm. Headband shaped windproof fleece lining protects ears from wind and lets excess heat flow of from top of your head. Simple but functional structure.
So far I have used it on biking and running in colder temperatures. Nothing bad to say and I think it would be great cap for alpine touring, skiing or any other fast winter activity where windproof and breathable cap is required.

I have the new double springs with screwlocks and have used them with my Grivel Matrix Tech for almost a year now. They are very simple to use, but carabiners are a bit large compared to (for example) BD's spinner leash. However, larger carabiners will probably fit a bit better with any ice axes on the market.

Screwlocks are not the best solution for spring leash because they tend to turn too tight when used. I have spend few times some not_so_quality time with my spring leash to get carabiners open.
Springs seems to be very durable and I have once fell on them (I weight ~95kg) when climbing as second and they didn't seem to get any damage. Still wouldn't use and won't recommend to use them as protection gear.
One little attribute you have to keep an eye on if you tend to switch hands and axes while climbing is that the springs will spin around each other and you have to spin them back once in a while.

I have tried these leashes with Matrix Tech, BD's Vipers and Petzl's Nomics. They worked fine with two first but were terrible with Nomics. This was because the attachment hole for spring in Nomic is in the middle of the grip. Therefore, when you keep axes on your hands, carabiners are also inside your palm and carabiners WILL screw so thight you can't even imagine. The touch with axe is also a bit weird and you can't get as good grip from them as you would like to. I climbed about 40 meters of easy ice with Nomics and used 5 minutes to unscrew the carabiners.

All in all, these are good springs if you are not climbing difficult routes where you don't want to do extra gimmicks with your springs, you do stop in the middle of climbs at times to settle springs and if you don't own Nomics or any other axes with similar spring leash attachment.

H7 is a headlamp that won't leave you in distress. It has great luminous intensity and nice but simple one hand focus system. Luminous intensity can be also adjusted stepless and with one hand.

The luminous intensity of H7 at full power is just amazing. With simple and functional focus system you can almost plan your screw placements 200 meters away from an icefall in the darkest winter nights. Blinding friends with it is also easier than slicing butter with hot knife. This can be easily avoided by adjusting the light power with stepless adjustment knob which is really easy to use even with the thickest gloves.
The build is also very solid except the vertical lamp rotation system, which feels a bit slobby. Neverthless, it has worked fine in the first five days of intense use.

Led lenser provides 54 hours maximum burn time for the H7. I have used it in five days now with same batteries with no noticeable reduction in light output. I can't say any facts about the battery lifetime with H7 because I have used it so little but if it gets along a five day trip so it is good enough for me. It has also been more friendlier for the batteries than my Black Diamond Gizmo headlamp.

Because of the separate battery case, headlamp is a bit difficult to wear on my Petzl Elios helmet when the vizion visor is on. You either have to keep the visor down or thread the battery case under the visor and over the helmet. This wasn't as easy as it sounds. The on/off button is also a bit small to use with thicker or bigger gloves. I have had some difficulties to put my headlamp on or off when wearing mittens.

Did I mention the price? It was 45€, which is a small amount of money from a headlamp with 170 lumen light power, very good functionality, great features and a good quality.

H7 comes with handy carrying case, that covers it from small hits and scratches when it is not used. The case can also be attached to a belt.
