A Plasticine type product that can be molded up to 30 minutes after taking it out of its packaging and then will stiffen into the shape you have molded. A really useful product that can be used to fix things or help with making things fit better such as a grip on a camera.

A have tried this helmet a few times as my friend has it and it is a good helmet, cushy interior and a solid exterior, although one big draw back with this helmet is the weight of it. The cushion interior adds so much weight to it that it is uncomfortable to wear after a long period of time. The helmet can be adjusted to head sizes easily so that it will be a tight fit.

A really good piece of kit, has everything you need when out and about on the mountain side. Its is slightly heavy but worth the extra weight. The pack is waterproof so you can keep it in the top pocket of your rucksack and not worry about getting the contents wet.

Overall a really good pack that should be a essential piece of kit in everyone's bag.

A really good crash pad, solidly made with really good foam that can take big impacts and not lose it's stiffness. When not using it though keep it undone so that it stays flat and open when you next take it out as if you dont it closes up. Slightly on the small side but it ok for a beginner or as a second mat. Overall a good crash pad.

A really good cleaning product that got all the dirt off my waterproofs and keep them waterproof for longer. Does exactly as it says and couldn't ask for more than that.

A found that this works really well, having used it on a winter skills course in scotland and thought that it was not too heavy compared with other and was really easy to place into the ground and worked really well. It didn't move an inch when placed so its a solid piece of gear in my eyes and would recommend others to get this.

A really good day sack with plenty of storage space. A robust bag that can be thrown around and still be in one piece at the end of it. Perfect for a small amount of climbing gear to fit it all in and has loops on it that are perfect to attach the helmet too. Has big side pockets for water bottles. It has side compression straps that allow to compress your bag and hip straps for when the bag gets heavy.

Overall a really good bag for those days out.

A great helmet for a kayaking and other water sports. Protects really well and fits snugly and doesn't scuff very easily. The holes allow the water to escape but does mean that it doesn't keep your head as warm on those cold days. easily adjustable neck clip and comes with more padding to get the best fit. A great helmet for those just starting out but maybe as time progresses look into buying one with less holes.

A really good dry bag that does as needed, used it plenty of times when hiking and nothing ever got wet and a couple of times when kayaking and threw it into the water to test it out and it kept everything dry, so i think its a good piece of kit and really well priced.

A great guidebook! Really easy pictures showing the routes and with a great description of the climb. It is a selective guidebook so it wont have all the climbs in the area but still plenty in there to keep you happy! There is also a page where you can tick the climbs off as well so you know what you have done! Has both trad and sport routes shown.

I would recommend this book to anyone!

A great fleece that is windproof and drys really quickly when wet. Handy little chest pocket and a half zip that's useful when you overheat. Competitively priced, I would recommend anyone to get one.

Breathable enough to be used as a mid layer yet offers the wind resistance of an outerlayer - it is easily adapted to the challenges you face on the hill.

I love this jacket! Fully waterproof and windproof with tapped seams. Has four pockets, 2 outside, 2 inside, outside pockets can hold a map. Has a fully adjustable hood that can fit a helmet under it as well. The jacket is robust as i have put it through its paces a few times out on dartmoor and worn it climbing a few times.

A great jacket that withstands all weather and at a good price of £140

A great sleeping bag that's limit is for autumn but not for winter use unless you have a down jacket and some thermals to wear when sleeping with it. Packs down really small and is really light. Good quality product and it doesn't have many down feathers come out of it. Has a small pocket on the inside to keep your mobile or other small objects in. Two way zip so if your feet get too hot you can just unzip it from the bottom.

Overall a really good sleeping bag but if your looking for something for winter this isnt it. Could proabley find a better sleeping bag for a better price but if brought it wont disappoint, just trying to save you money!

A great and healthy product that is an intensive skin repair for your hands after a hard days climbing or after any activity that involves the hands becoming sore. Works really well and speeds up the healing process so that cuts will be gone in no time! Lasts for a really long time. after you put it on your hands are going to be a little greasy for a little bit but it soon drys up.

My college instructor had these jackets and i tested one out myself and found that they are good but have one draw back. The jacket is not very robust. It tears really easily and for in the outdoor industry wear your going to be putting jackets through there paces isn't very good at all. Apart from that the jacket is fully waterproof and windproof and has a great amount of pockets available for storage. Fully taped seams as well to keep the water out! The jacket is quite expensive as well.

The chalk it self is really good and does as it should but i just prefer to have the chalk powder and not have it rolled up in a ball and have to spend an hour crushing enough chalk out of it to cover my hands. whereas with powder chalk its in and out in a flash and saves time and energy!

A great bag that does exactly what it does, what more could you ask for. Funnily enough the kid that makes them climbs at my climbing wall and he is a really nice guy. A really good product that's worth getting probably for the kids as a fun present if there into climbing or if your a really big kid! ha

The boots are very good, I brought them for a trip to scotland for a winter skills course and put them through there paces and came out on top! Never let any water in and never had to wear gaiters as they came up high on my leg and also provides very good ankle support. The gsb part means that they can be connected to gsb crampons by grivel for fast fitting as there is no need for straps to tighten up. Big tread on the shoes and sticky rubber. The shoe is B2 rated, and allows numerous crampons to be fitted.

Overall a really good shoe, for a fairly good price but they should last for a really long time. Only downside i would say is that they are a heavy boot.

This has to be one of the best single person tents out there! having used this tent with college i was impressed from the word go. Firstly it is so light, this is due to there only being on pole. It is a four season tent with plenty of room. The way it is designed allows a person to quite happily sit up in the tent, ( most others leave me hunched over) and cook without any concerns about the weather affecting them. As the person is sitting in the center of the tent this then means all the person equipment is within reach where as i would normally be scrambling over everything to get food out of my back at the back of the tent.

The space between the inner and outer is very good and allows comfortable storage of the rucksack without it having to touch the outer.

Although the tent is quite expensive it does mean that you wouldn't need to buy another tent for a very long time, if looked after properly that is.

For 12.50 it already beats its competitors on price but now the real test is can it perform? Yes it can! Having brought this head torch i have been impressed since i ripped open the packaging. This torch has different colour lights to help you out navigating on mountain sides, White, green and red. The torch also has a light on the battery pack so that you can be seen, although don't forget to turn it off when playing hide and seek. It has three straps so it fits securely on your head. The battery life is really long lasting so only need to change the batteries every so often.

Alpkit Phud is a brilliant crash pad at a competitive price and has a bonus feature that its free delivery from alpkit! yay! (why carn't more companies do free delivery???) Great foam inside and outer that is strong and robust. Really simple but cool design and easy to carry shoulder strap or side strap to hand carry.

Overall one to buy as it stands above other makes at quality and price! so for me if you want a boulder pad, this is the one to get!!

(can also be used as a mattress but that depends on how small you are! haha)

Firstly it is a little expensive for a burner that just sits on top of a gas canister but it is very quick at boiling a litre of water. I found that when sitting in your tent trying to cook this plus the cooking unit itself stands very tall and can be top heavy if you didn't use a stand to help stabalise the unit more. Which is the reason i changed it in the end as i wanted one that sits lower to the ground and more stable so as not to knock it over. Overall a good burner if you don't mind sitting outside but if inside make sure you have a fire extinguisher close by in case you accidentally knock it over. If you buy the express pan that can come with it, that is very good. pan is perfectly sized for an egg and chopped up back and the pan cools really quickly as well. It also has a ignition starter which works really well if you keep the burner clean but if it gets too dirty it can struggle to start.

This is a really good shoe for someone starting to climb as it is comfortable to wear and allows the climber to perform toe and heal hooks to a good standard. found that the rubber is really long lasting on this shoe, and the style of the shoe is more suited to long routes rather than bouldering.

The shoe is fairly inexpensive as well so it doesn't break the bank unlike the more technical shoes. Overall a great shoe for people who are starting out climbing.

Dragon cams in my personal opinion are the best cams out there. The reason is that the adjustable sling is so useful when on a climb and also reduces the amount a cam walks. fell on them a few times and have never had one fail on me. DMM also have really good customer service i have found as well. Light in weight and also really easy to operate.

A quality product that offers climbers to really improve on their finger strength. Quick and easy to set up, as it is made out of wood there is less chance of skin wearing down. stick it up somewhere where you can watch tv or can chat to people to make it more fun and not a chore. Remember to warm up well before using to prevent injury!

A really good shoe that gives good tracking on the rock when climbing and a really good tread for approaches. Unlike other shoes the tread on this has lasted longer than scarpa approach shoes that other people have had. Only down side to the shoe is that the laces could be made better or even have the same laces on climbing shoes. Go for a size smaller than needed as this then keeps the shoe on your foot better when climbing. A really comfortable shoe.

These shoes perform amazingly on all rock and indoor walls. makes all small features feel like jugs and the shoes give you the ability to crank hard when performing heel or toe hooks. An aggressive shoe for the more experienced climber. At the start they will feel really tight and you will only be able to keep them on for 10 mins or so at a time but worth it when they perform on a overhanging route!
